Tuition

There are several options to choose from when it comes to tuition. All the tuition is delivered by highly motivated, fully qualified instructors who have been teaching watersports for many years. All the instructors take pride in what they do and find it rewarding seeing the people they teach develop over time into confident paddlers, sailors and windsurfers.We also run several clubs, please check the clubs tab above for more information.

 

2 Day and 5 Day Certified Structured Courses

BCU recognised kayaking courses, RYA recognised power boating, sailing and windsurfing courses and multi activity courses for both adults and juniors.

Adult courses are usually run over the weekends and junior courses are run during school holidays.

However, if you have a group of 3 or more people it is possible to try and arrange something to suit your hectic schedule!

 

Extended Courses

If you have other commitments at the weekends then an extended course might be a better option for you.

 

There will be an extended  adult sailing course running on Wednesday evenings form 5:30-7:30.

This will be a progressive course and we aim to get you to Level 2 in around 10 weeks.

 

There will also be an adult sailing course from 11:00-13:00 on Wednesdays for those of you who have commitments such as children or work at the weekends or in the evenings.

Private Tuition £26.00 per hour for any activity plus the equipment hire

This is more flexible and can be tailored to your level of experience. most of the courses can be offered on a one on one basis but obviously this will cost a bit more. Please get in touch to discuss what you require.

 

Family Dinghy Tuition £52.50 per hour including equipment hire

This is designed as a taster session for up to 2 adults and 2 children. You will be taken out by one of our instructors who will introduce you to what sailing is all about.

 

Tasters £28.00 for 2 Hours (including equipment hire)

Tasters will be run for 3 or more people. The timings will depend on what is going on so the best thing to do is get in touch and see what has been scheduled in.

 

Refreshers £75.00 for 6 Hours Sailing or £71.00 for 5 Hours windsurfing (including equipment hire)

Refreshers can be run on a fairly flexible basis but a minimum of 3 people are needed to run one. There may be people already booked on to a refresher or waiting for enough people for one to run so give us a call or drop us an email and see what we have planned. We will be more than happy to try and arrange one for you.
